That was quick.

UrbanTurf has learned that Rosie O’Donnell, whose TV talk show premieres next month on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), has closed on the five-bedroom, six-bath Southport Corridor mansion that she went under contract on just a couple weeks ago. The seller was Erik Logan, the president of OWN.

The 6,000 square-foot, twelve-room home at 1517 W. Grace St. (map) closed on Monday for $2.25 million, $250,000 less than the asking price and $150,000 less than what Logan purchased it for in 2008.

The home has an enormous great room (see below) with a gas-log fireplace, a large master suite, with its own sitting room and fireplace, three more bedrooms and a fully-finished basement that has remote-controlled black-out shades and radiant-heated floors.

Great room

With the Rosie Show set to begin on October 10, we expect to see a moving truck outside the Lake View abode shortly.
