Hoop it Up! Chicago Properties with Indoor Basketball Courts
With the start of the NBA playoffs, UrbanTurf decided it was time to feature properties in Chicago that come with their own basketball courts. Maybe it will give Derrick Rose, Carlos Boozer, and the rest of the Bulls a few ideas for a real estate purchase.

The indoor basketball court at 2856 North Hermitage Avenue
A recently listed mansion in Lakeview features a wood-paneled elevator, a hand-painted library, a bluestone patio and pergola, and a basketball court. Located at 2856 North Hermitage Avenue (map), this mansion has about 10,000 interior square feet with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, and is listed for $4,495,000.

The basketball court at Scottie Pippen’s former home
Of course, a true Bulls fan would want a place that was owned by one of the franchise’s legends, but current buyers are out of luck, because Scottie Pippen’s Highland Park home just sold for $1,600,000. Naturally, it has a regulation size basketball court with Pippen’s number (33) emblazoned on the floor.
If these properties are a little rich for your blood, there are number of condo and apartment complexes with shared indoor basketball courts in the city. We’ve written about the amenities at Aqua in Lakeshore East (map) before, and the The Grand Ohio just a few blocks north at 211 East Ohio Street (map) also has a private indoor basketball court for residents.
