As UrbanTurf reported earlier this week, former Governor Rod Blagojevich’s Ravenswood Manor home hit the market Sunday for $1.07 million. Now, there are photos of the interior to give prospective buyers a look at what they would be getting for that price.

The 11-room, five-bedroom home on the corner of Sunnyside Avenue and Richmond Street was renovated after Blagojevich and his wife purchased it in 1999 for $505,000. The interior sort of resembles the type of governor’s mansion one might see down in Savannah, Georgia — rich colors, plantation shutters, a library and piano room, window-lined eating areas, and a large foyer. The kitchen and bathrooms have been updated, as has the master suite. The home has three outdoor spaces including a deck, porch, and brick patio, as well as a 2,200 square-foot basement with a gym.

For just over $1 million (a fraction of a Senate seat), you get 11 rooms - including 5 bedrooms - a deck, porch, and brick patio in one of Chicago’s most sublime neighborhoods. Check out all the photos, but act quick. Because this thing is f*#!ing golden!
